10 years in exile
1980 Fiat Spider
My brother came home in 1980 for Christmas. We lived in London, Ontario, EOA... "East of Adelaide", a tough, lower middle class neighbour. Not East Hastings, not Bedford Stuyvesant, or Chesterfield Square. but it was poor and my family grew up poor. So the cars of my youth were cheap, used and near worn out. 1967 Cadillac Hearse, 1970 AMC Ambassador Station wagon, 1976 AMC Pacer. So when I saw my brother's 1980 Fiat Spider...it was something Id never seen before, a new car!
